When I first met Jessica & Caleb, this Midwest wedding photographer fell in love with them right away! Their laid back personalities led me to believe they would have a very relaxed, family focused day, which is precisely how it unfolded. The weather was amazing for a Spring Wedding in Geneva, IL with temperatures in the low 70’s and not a drop of rain. Their wedding day was sprinkled with family traditions, heirlooms and touches that were true to Caleb & Jessica. While a traditional ceremony and reception were had, their personalities gave it a modern twist with the tandem bike cake topper, the Pittsburgh cookie table, and the incredible VW Bug getaway car.
The reception location was perfectly suited for Jessica as she had ‘grown up’ at Eagle Brook Country Club, as a member of the swim team and celebrated life’s special events there, like her confirmation, and now her wedding day. It was only fitting that we took a moment to get a shot of her near the pool where she spent many summers in the water. Caleb was completely content, having a day off the water celebrating his forever choice in this life, Jessica! Punny beer coozies stated ‘hooked for life’ were perfect for this avid fisherman and Wisconsin fishing guide.
I am so thankful for the opportunity I had to document their wedding day, and now I can’t wait to share all the highlights with you!
